It is almost Christmas.  I have many things to do before Christmas.  I have presents to buy.  I have to wrap presents.  I have to go to the grocery store.  I have to make food.  I have lots of things to do before Monday.  (Christmas is on Sunday, but my family will celebrate it on Monday.)

Because there are many things I still have to do before Christmas, I have had to put other things on hold.  When you put something on hold, you put it off until something else is done.  I'm putting things on hold until Christmas is over.  This means I won't write on my blog until after Christmas.  I'm putting my blog on hold until after Christmas.  I will write more after Christmas.

I have one more present to buy.  I have to buy a present for my father.  I'm not sure what to get him.  He doesn't like big presents so I have to find a small present to get him.

I already have presents for the rest of my family.  I bought warm socks for my nieces and my sisters-in-law.  I bought lottery tickets for my nephews and my brothers.  I bought snowglobes for my great-nephews and great-nieces.

I made a calendar for my mother.  Each month of the year has a picture.  The picture is of the people with a birthday in that month.  I hope my mom is surprised.

Don't tell my family what I got them.  I don't want them to know.  I want them to be surprised.
